I think the reason Google is exiting the Chinese market, is because of the strict censorship laws, and Google plain can’t be bothered to use a lot of time and money on developing systems to block sex, violence and other naughty stuff from the Internet. I feel for the Chinese people though, they should have the same access to web services like anyone else, and as you said, the only thing the government censorship is doing, is driving people to using proxy tools and VPN, like you mentioned.

People don’t stop accessing “questionable” content just because it’s blocked, it just takes them a couple of extra minutes to access it.

Wow, I never would have guessed that. Their sales of the Dingoo A320 have been booming lately, so one would think that a small company of only 11 employees would have been making a bit more than a measly €200/month. Best of luck to the company though, the A320 is a fantastic product, and so are the games on it, developed by Dingoo Games.
